API Overview

Welcome to the documentation for the DevAtlas Viewport and Customization Engine! To get started, here are the basics.

WARNING: These docs are still in progress and the API is also still in development!! Please contact @Kayden on discord if you need help with the Viewport or Customization Engine.

Definitions:

Viewport Engine - The set of scripts that drives the viewport in the DevAtlas website. This engine handles opening windows that have already been loaded onto the local computer.

Customization Engine - The set of scripts, databases, and APIs that allow for users to create their own forums, allows the Viewport Engine to load windows from plugins, and more!

You will mostly use the Customization Engine APIs when developing your own plugins.
